Let me introduce myself...
I am Zac-Manuel, an architect by profession and a lifelong watchmaking enthusiast. Growing up surrounded by my father's and brother's passion for horology, I developed a deep appreciation for design, precision, and craft. This brand is the natural intersection of those worlds - my way of creating time-pieces that celebrate both my love for watches and pride in Portuguese heritage.
Why was Monserrate started?
This brand was born from a lifelong passion for design and craftsmanship. As an architect, I learned to see beauty in detail, proportion, and timeless form.
At home, I grew up surrounded by watchmaking through my father and brother, whose dedication to the art instilled in me both respect and fascination.
Bringing these worlds together, I set out to create something proudly Portuguese - a watch brand that honours our heritage, showcases our artistry, and builds a legacy rooted in both family and culture.
